You're definitely not too old to start but you'll have a lot of work ahead of you. Becoming a vet takes a lot of schooling and it's even more difficult to get into a veterinary program than it is to get into medical school. If that is your passion though, go for it! You could always start out by becoming a vet tech or assistant or something like that. It pays rather well, you'll gain experience and it may even take care of some credits. Good luck!
