It appears that Hillary must depend on Bill's status and charisma a lot more than she'd like. She's had to bring him in to make appearances with her to bolster her campaign already. If Bill wasn't in the picture, her campaign would definitely be affected negatively. It's kind of ironic to me because I'm of the opinion that her smarts really aided him reach the Presidency. She, however, doesn't have the warm persona and the ability to charm the masses that Bill still does.
Like it or not, Hillary owes her position in national politics, in no small measure, to Bill. Without Bill, no Hillary.

I think it would help her campaign immensely, because there are a lot of people, even those who loved Bill, who don't like her politics or her personality but would cut her a lot of slack as a "grieving widow."
Anyhow, I wish them all long lives, even the ones I don't vote for.
Hopefully the idiot who made the rifle comment will receive a visit from the Secret Service tonight.
I've seen a lot of stupid comments on Y/A but that one is the stupidest.

It's undeniable he is an asset to her and not a detriment. His approval ratings have never been higher. For me though, my support for Hillary stands on her and her alone. I believe she is the best candidate out there for the Presidency. If Bill died tomorrow it would only add to her support. We Americans are soppy emotionalists from time to time, and that wouldn't be any different.

Bill Clinton is more likely to die of pneumonia caught due to a draft because he had his pants down. At any rate, I guess Hillary will try to go on her own. Bill may be more of a liability to her, politically.
At any rate, if she gets into the white house in '08, maybe we the taxpayers will get back some of the furniture they stole out of there when they moved out the last time.

Her ambition would not allow her stop. She would use it to her benefit. Why is it that you only see the Clinton's in the Black Baptist churches when they are campaigning. Why doesn't she attend an integrated church year round. The news just reported how she was trying to use a "southern accent" while she was campaigning from the pulpit. Why aren't you libs yelling about separation.

It depends on it alot. Somehow he's a very good fundraiser. She depends on him for her candidacy. That's why she hangs onto the zlub.

The funeral would go on for days. You would have Republicans, Democrats and yes President Bush and Laura by her side. I can not imagine how devastated this beautiful woman would feel, but somehow she would go on. She would enter the White House with one pair of slippers, a broken heart and a stronger drive to carry on.

A lot less money. Bill is very charismatic, and a superior fundraiser, which is why he was teamed up with Bush sr.

it matters not. she will not be elected. don't care if the ghost of John F. Kennedy showed up and campaigned with her. i don't think she'll even be the Democratic front-runner come '08.
