I was a bouncer in a night club when I was in my late 20s. My job was to minimize damage when someone got out of hand.

Often you had to fight with a couple of guys at the same time So I was on both ends of the fight, winning and loosing many times when I was younger. It was mostly just embarrassing to loose. By the time I was too exhausted to fight back the other guys were in no shape to hurt a flee. So there was not much to be afraid of.

I tried to inflict the least amount of damage I could to a person to get them to quit being aggressive. I never really enjoyed hurting people and only resorted to force when everything else failed.

If somebody in Y!A is still beating people up, they are still children. When I was a child I fought with a guy whom I knew I could beat up...but my arms went completely limp. I would swing at him, but would barely touch him. I guess I didn't want to hurt him.
