The TS was front wheel driven,BMW powered and similiarly upholstered. It was very small and the photos of the Mini could pass for it. Rumor had it that the Lloyd was given free with the purchase of an Edsel!

While there are similarities in the cars the overall design is quite different. The biggest differences are that the styling is definitely closer to mimicking the original BMC Mini than the Lloyd.

The Lloyd Alexander TS and the Mini Cooper(old AND new BMW versions) don't have ANY resemblance to each other!...

Please...at least Mini is still around, but Lloyd(and rest of the Borgward Group) went out of business in the mid-1960s...
