I know I should talk to my doctor about this and I will I was just wondering how late into their pregnancy other people flew. I am having a baby shower back home at the beginning of April and I plan on flying, its a 12 hour drive and I think my husband might be out of town on business. Any suggestions?

I was due November 27th and I flew in the middle of September. So I think I was about that far along if not further. You'll be fine!!! Drink LOTS of water and avoid salty foods before flying. My dr. gave me the okay and the airline didn't even check to see if I had a dr's okay. Definately make sure your dr. approves, though!!

You should contact the airports you will be flying from. A lot of them have restrictions on how far along they will let pregnant women fly, even if the Doctor says it's OK, the airport may not allow it.

Of course check with your doctor, but also check with the airline you intend to fly. Some have restrictions on how pregnant you can be and still fly so make sure there won't be issues with them either. =-) Good luck.

I think you will need a note from your doctor allowing you to fly that late in pregnancy. Good luck to you....

I highly doubt any airline is going to let you fly that late in pregnancy. You need to check with them first.
