Most likely, the heater element has burned out. This may have been caused by a clogged vent line or dirty filter. Does the dryer get hot when you put it on hi? I'll be not. Call a repairman, or replace it yourself, just be sure to unplug it first.
If it's a gas dryer, then the pilot flame may have blown out or the igniter is not making a spark to ignite the gas Take steel wool and clean the rods and adjust the gap to about 3/16".

I would first unclog everyplace in that drier the filters inside the vent underneath then when its all blown or sucked out if it doesn't work better then call the repair man. I bought a very good dryer and that was all i did still works since 98 and its a hot point.

The vent system may be clogged with lint. Try unhooking the vent hose from the dryer & run one load. If the dryer works ok, the problem is in the vent system.

you didn't really give much information.
gas or electric? is there any heat at all?
try a google search for appliance repair instruction. there's sites that have diagrams and step by step instructions for trouble shooting and repair, based on make and model info that you provide.
I've listed a site that i used when my gas dryer had the same problem. replaced a pair of ignition coils. 20 bucks and a couple hours of my time. you can't get a repair man to knock on your door for 20 bucks.
hope they can help. good luck.

Sounds like the vent is clogged. Check to see that the vent goes to the outside of the building if you can. Check the exit point to the outside to see if it is clogged or separated. The vent pipe could n clogged too.
Good luck.
