Let's see, you've got a roster with question marks next to just about every starter, their depth is a joke, and the last coaching staff left because ownership chose players over them, and the new head coach is just keeping the seat warm.....doesn't really sound like that great a combination.
TO is still in the team. Romo got exposed after about 3 or 4 games. The defense still needs several players. They made one good step by signing Davis(he at least might be really good unlike their previous signings of Rivera and Kosier).
I wouldn't hold my breath for even a division title this year.

I am a lil bit iffy on whether or not they will be good.Romo is a good but still young QB.T.O., a problem to anyone,is still there and getting older but still decent.Terry Glenn is good but is also getting up in years as well.Their defense will get better with Ellis coming back and Jerry Jones picked a guy that runs one of the best 3-4 defenses. The only problem that really puzzles me is that they got a defensive minded coach and got a offensive coordinator that has only coached 2 years.( QB coach at Dolphins). They to me are going to be the ''dark horse'' going into next year.

Wade Phillips history as a head coach is not a great one...with Denver and with Buffalo......the teams went backwards under his reign. Really wouldn't expect anything different in Dallas.

No, I don't think Wade Phillips is a very good coach. He might take the Cowboys to the playoffs but I don't see him leading them to a Super Bowl.

Uh...more time and a different coach...Phillips isn't the guy...He coached Denver for those who don't remember...Translation-WITH Elway, he was a mediocre coach...The Super Bowls didn't happen until Shanahan...They would have been better off taking Norv Turner over Phillips...

No. I thought that it was a bad hire from the start. They're not gonna do much this year. They'll probably get back to the playoffs and get bounced in the wild card round yet again.

Remember...Bill Belicheck coached the Browns too...and they were horrible. He's slightly better now I think...

Wade is a good coach. It's the players who have to succeed though. The Cowboys are way too talented all around to not go all the way. Jerry Jones will just implode. haha

The players are now playing for a players coach. They play for him because they want to. Parcell's style is getting players to play for him because the have to.

Being a leader means, getting people to do what you want them to do, because THEY want to. That is what this team needs.

Inspiration is the best motivation.

With that said. Parcell's built a beast of a team. Too bad they don't realize it yet.

in a year maybe he can take them to a championship right now he'll make the playoffs and probably lose in the first or second round.
