I give my self the reality talk.
I assess my panic 1-10, remind myself i have never died or had a heart attack from panic.
If I have one in the Car(often do) I tell myself what my actions are at that moment.. like my hands are on the wheel, i have my seat belt on, i'm driving 40miles per hour etc... and if i can i get up and move a round a bit.
Also remind myself that I am not the center of the universe and no one is staring at me, and they do not know i'm having a panic attack.
Good Luck

The only thing that ever worked for me (and I had panic attacks a lot years ago) was to lie down. Even on the bathroom floor if no other place was available. There is medication out there right now to help with panic attacks. Back when I used to have the attacks, there was no medication for them--if it had been available, I would have used it. Those attacks are no fun.

There’s always a turning point when a person moves from general anxiety into a panic attack, and that happens with public speaking when you think to yourself:
I won’t be able to handle this in front of these people.
That split second of self-doubt leads to a rush of adrenaline, and the extreme anxiety arrives in a wavelike format. If, however, you feel the initial anxiety and react with confidence that this isn’t a threat to you, you’ll process the anxiety rapidly.
Using this new approach is a powerful ally because it means it’s okay to feel scared and anxious when speaking. That’s fine-you’ll feel it, and you’ll move with and through the sensations in your body and out the other side.
Because people are often very anxious before the talk has begun, they may feel they’ve already let themselves down. Now you can relax on that point. It’s perfectly natural to feel the anxiety.

a panic attack is a physical reaction to a thought. stop thinking about whatever it is that you are thinking that is causing your body to react in this manner. For example I knew a guy who at the start of a panic attack would tell his wife and she would start asking random questions like what is the capital of Alaska?..etc. they would continue through the list until his mind was focused on something entirely different from what caused the fear in the first place.

The most effective way to bring the body back to normality from any state, be that shock or panic even shivering, is breathing. Slow but long breaths until your lungs are completely full then exhale keeping the same speed as you inhaled. Clearing your mind of all obstacles and sitting still practising this also helps.

Take yourself out of the situation that is causing the panics and take deep breaths. Perhaps count from 1 to 10. Regulate your breathing by concentrating on breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Hope this helps, and I hope you are ok?

That's fear...beat it. Calm yourself by taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly. By the way, it's normal especially when body changes occur.

I sit down, put my palms over my eyes and just think of calm things and breathe.
