It's to take you to a place you need to fly to in comfort. It is the best UK airline and also a flag carrier, UK's national airline. I personally have used it most than any other airline and never had any complaints! So far.

They are in the business of transporting people and goods via Aircraft around the world. They are also the national carrier of the UK. How good they are is a different matter.
