How much does it cost for getting a ticket for "driving in the left lane too long" cost?

I was driving on the highway the other day and a cop pulled me over for "driving in the left lane for too long". She said that I wasn't speeding but that I had been in the left lane for a long period of time. She said she wasn't quite sure how much it would cost but that I could call within a week. I wanted to know if any of you had gotten this kind of ticket and how much you had to pay if you didn't speed, just so I can get a general idea of how much I will owe...Good answers please!

More than likely, if you walk in to court by yourself, the judge will give you a scolding for restricting traffic in the left hand lane and throw the ticket out.

That's the beauty of the UK you don't get a ticket for driving in the left lane, you must of been hogging we get a lot of it over here infuriating women driving in the fast lane cos there is nobody on it, wish the cops would do the same here,
now are you not going to pay this fine, cos you say owe
now that is naughty, you will have to go to the bank and get a remortgage cos you can not owe the court,

Since fines for driving vary widely from state to state, you need to get the answer from the agency that regulates the fine.
Many states have laws that the left lane is for passing only. That means you can utilize it for a minute or two to get around slower vehicles, but you cannot just drive in it and stay there.

Sorry I have never seen anyone get a ticket for this. It is true the left lane is for passing, but most officers don't enforce this. Where were you ?
