it depends on your body structure...are you muscular? Muscle weighs more than fat remember. The bone structure also plays a big part in it. You are probably fine! I am 5'4 and by the things onling it says that my weight is obese! But if you actually look at me, I am quite small, I am just very muscular with a large german bone structure. I bet that your perfict and beautiful. If your feeling self concious, then you should mabye work out a couple times a week, try an at home cardio workout video or something!

for your height, anywhere from 117-154 is considered the "healthy" range, depending on body structure, build, and muscle (muscle weighs more than fat). so, if you're happy with your body and the way it is, then i say just maintain your weight. if you want to change and lose a little weight, then thats okay too, just make sure you do it in a healthy way and dont harm your body in the process. i would recommend keeping a food log for the next week or two, and see how many calories you consume. at calorie-count.com, they have an online food log that you can find the foods you eat and it has the nutritional information and calorie content there. also, at that site, you can fill out a profile with how much weight you want to lose and in how much time, and depending on your activity level, it will tell you how many calories you should eat per day to reach your goal. good luck. :)

You remind me of my sister... Always worried about weight or something. Look, here's the thing. The media and TV have told women they need to look a certain way. To be honest, most models look like anoerexic circus freaks. You're not fat. Stop worring about that. You seem perfectly normal and the problem isn't you. The problem is what you think about you. There's only an issue if you make it one. So just give yourself some credit and don't worry about it.

If you are unhappy then I suggest that you need a change. I wouldn't say you are fat b/c I have never seen you and everyone holds their weight differently. I am not a professional but I would say 130 seems to be a good weight for that height. However it really depends on your build and what weight you are happy with. Good luck!

if you are a boy, yopu start out at 100# if you are 5 feet and add 5# for each inch...so for you, you should weigh 130#.
if you are a girl, you atrat out st 95# for 5 feet and add 5# for each inch over, so you would weigh 125.
now, not everyone is the same, so there is a fudge factor of 10% so if you were a boy, then 143 would be ok, and if you are a girl, 137.5 would be ok...

The ideal weight for an ADULT your height (5'6") is between 125 and 135, but they say this doesn't apply to adolescents.
If you are worried, get excercise and lift weights. Muscle weighs more than body fat, and gives you an awesome body. Remember to eat healthy.

i think 130-140 would be considered average. you shouldn't worry so much about your weight though, you're only 14. just try to eat healthy, like more fruits, vegetables, water, milk. less junk food. exercise a little, like taking a walk, jogging, riding a bike...
not necessarily because of how much you weigh, but because it's good for you.
