why did they say prince Harry was even going to Iraq now with the death threat on him does this mean they will attack every tank and landrover hoping to get him what about the other soldiers who go on patrol its hard enough going on patrol with out the threat of more attacks on vehicles

Why was it even mentioned in the media that he was going,the lad should be allowed to get on with the job that he obviously wants to do.The pressure on anyone else has been put on by the press not by Prince Harry.We don't publish the names of others go on active service so why is it ok to mention him?
Obviously the nearet bellyman has got to danger is when his finger slipped on the keyboard trying to spell armour!!!!!!!!

Good point, but on the other hand you can't say that all royals, all celebs, all relatives of politicians & all rich people (each of which could be singled out & targeted for the same reasons) are to be banned from going into war zones - when a nation is at war that includes these people too - and the poor/noncelebs people would hate to be told they have to do all the fighting & dying out there, alone.

Going to the war is normal if you are to be respected by your subjects. He would never get respect if he put his life above others since he is a "royal". Look how we treat our leaders over here in the political arena.
Patrols are hard regardless of priorities. This act shows bravery and confidence that the job will be done with commitment and intelligence, not fear of what might happen.

Good, I hope he comes back OK.
The MOD have him as a serving soldier so why should he be immune from the stress of an operational role?
Be nice if everybody stopped fightin, but that will never happen - look at history of wars all the way back to the egyptians and before.....

stop worrying it is his choice to go he is a big boy now... and all the others now what they are letting themselfs in for... i say let him learn the hard way a nice bullet will do him good... he wants to play big boys games then let him take what everybody else has to....
bet he will get body armor...not like most out there....
he will be some place not a lot happens...

I guess if he was killed it would remove the question about the identity of his real dad. They would then probably blame Iran and justify their decision to back America in the next invasion.
