I think that the last available date for the Stanley Cup final is around June 10th to 14th. Sometime in early June this year. Last year was a little later because of the Olympic break, so they will get it done earlier this year.

Looks like they'll end early this year, possibly in May if the series goes less than the full seven.
The regular season ends on Sunday, 4/8. The playoffs begin the following week and each round is scheduled for two weeks.
Assuming the playoffs begin the Tuesday after the last day of regulation. The first round will be over no later than 4/22. The quarterfinals will be over no later than 5/6. The semifinals will be over no later than 5/20. The finals will be over no later than 6/3.
This looks about right since the playoffs began two weeks late last year due to the Olympics.

The season is over at the end of April, playoffs start soon after and usually go into the Cup Finals in early to mid June. One reason I love hockey so much is the fact that the pre-season starts in September and the playoffs go until June. There's never a time when the excitement of the season wears off because the off-season is so short!

No because all they can give at the moment is the LAST POSSIBLE DATE. See the NHL will start a series as soon as they can, not based on X date. So if the series are all 4 game sweeps they start the next series sooner then if the series takes all 7 games. Regular season ends at the start of April and playoffs end by mid-June usually.

Usually each series lasts 14 days, with a game being played every second day and it provides enough time for 7 games. Although in the past two seasons there seem to be more breaks inbetween and more days off, Expect the playoffs to end around early June / late May.

Season ends at the start of April. Playoffs end usually mid - june
Depends on how long the series are. If series finish earlier and don't stretch out to 7 games, then the finals will come earlier.

It all depends on how long each series takes (up to 7 games). If each series takes 7 games, then the playoffs will be over in June. If each series is the shortest amount of time that it can be (4 games), then the playoffs could be over as early as May. Due to the likelihood of prolonged series', the playoffs probably will not be over until early June sometime.
