And yes, I have 4 kids, so give me the, "You must not have children!" speech.
And if a baby has colic that makes them scream bloody murder continuously, that baby should be left at home.

I have a hard time with it too. I dont understand why they let it go on. Its so annoying to others that are trying to shop or just enjoy themselves wherever it may be. Isnt it irratating to them? Youd think it would be. They need discipline. If they continue to let them scream at that young of an age, think about how theyll be when theyre teenagers. I always want to go up and slap the parent, NOT the kid.*

Well since I am a mother of two ages 1 and 4 I kind of understand. Though it is very uncommon that my children scream in public like that. Unless they hurt themselves or something. I would comfort them though to try to get them to stop. I won't just sit there and do nothing while my poor babies are screaming there heads off.

I agree with you, there are some people that should not have children because they do not know how to make their kids behave. There is nothing worse than being in the company of a bad parent.

That they have absolutely no control and it makes me wanna show them how to keep that kid quiet!! lol. Drives me madd. But babies are different, there's nothing you can do about an infant crying. Infants have no control. I'm talking about the 5 and up kids that have no excuse to be acting out. the ones that can be taught to know better, that's what drives me crazy.

a child will scream an shout to get there own way i have a 5 yr old son an he has done his bit to try an get his own way i just say no an that's that.its people like you that get on my nerves that have no experience with children so if you don't like what you hear just go away. i take it you got no kids

Well given the situation, calmness is what distinguishes parents from children. Often times people are waiting for a certain reaction from the parent ,either to criticize or praise. We all should ask forgiveness for our parents!

i can't stand that chit... and they act like nothing is going on either... i get the urge to throw a box of noodles at them...
You know what i do when my kid acts like that? Take his little butt to the bathroom and either spank him or take him home. I've been known to even leave my basket right there and go straight home... without even getting groceries that day. It's called discipline. No sense in it. I won't have it. It's ridiculous. He knows momma doesn't put up with it, that's for sure.

Doesnt bother me...I just thank God my kids are well past that stage...then I wish to God they were THAT tiny and dependent on me again...sigh..my oldest baby will be in high school in six months...makes me want to cry like an infant in public...lol

It really depends if I have a big headache or not, for the most part, I try to channel the thought out, but then there are those days, where you want to politely say STFU

It drives me nuts when they do not attempt to do anything, but I am the mother of an autistic girl and sometimes no matter what I try she has this loud pitch scream that will blow your mind, but I always try to figure out what is wrong
