Whats YOUR plan for IRAQ?

This is not about liberal or conservative issues... Tell me your realistic plan to solve the problem in Iraq and for US to exit the country gracefully.

We should be training the Iraqis so that they can take over thier own country.

When we deem it possible to leave, we leave. And the Iraqis take over.

That is success..

All these Conservatives saying that Liberals want America to lose or that Liberals hate America or that Liberals can only accept defeat are brainwashed. There is only one way to suceed in Iraq.

Get the hell out of there.

STEP 1:

Make the Sunnis and the Shiites sit down and talk to each other.

STEP 2:

Make the Iraqi government pay for thier own rebuilding process. I'm fixing things the US/Coalition Forces didn't break but what Saddam let rot.

STEP 3:

Patrol the streets with combined CF/IA forces to keep the peace.

STEP 4:

Reduce CF involvement.

STEP 5:

Come home.

Gracefully isn't gonna happen. The sunni and shiite militia's have guarenteed this to be a decades long conflict. Even if every foreign troop was gone they'd still be going at it. Get our troops out and let the camel jockeys kill each other.

The only way to exit 'gracefully' is to split the country in two - then let both sides get on with it the way they want to and never the twain shall meet.

It worked in Korea (sort of!!), and Germany (and they made up)

We need to install a multinational force to keep the peace during this civil war. That means we have to go before the UN or to each country individually and explain why we were wrong to assume we could do it alone and ask for help.

Open the borders and allow people to flee

Cut out the Profiteers like Halliburton and Blackwater

And if we don't want terrorists to control the oil, then maybe we should destroy the oil wells.

We let the generals on the ground who have been trained, do their jobs. We take the politicians out of the war. If the Generals need more troops, we send them, if they need more helicopters, we send them. If they can get by with less troops, then we send some home. They are there to do a job, let them do it and get the politicians out of his war . Most importantly, we win.

BRING HOME OUR TROOPS, LET THEM SORT IT OUT, AND SAY WE'RE SORRY FOR DESIMATING YOUR COUNTRY AND INFLICTING TERROR ATTACKS ON YOU TO KEEP A CONSTANT CIVIL WAR.
