A couple friends told me that they were going to stop making games for those 2 systems but I didn't believe them. I want to know a real answer.

Since the next generation of systems came out, soon they are going to stop make games. People are already making dates to stop making these systems, and start making more next gen consoles. And if people are still making games for these systems, they won't be has good as they used. For instance, God of War 2 is said to be the last greatest game for the PS2. All good systems have a end, and another evolves.

Obviously. Do they still make playstation 1 games? No, they don't. The only thing we are not sure of is when, because they will eventually stop making playstation 2 games, if you don't know that well then I have a bridge to sell you.

There are various PS2 released scheduled for next 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, yet do not anticipate to verify too many PS2 video games popping out late in 2007, or many in any respect in 2008 (except they're PSP ports).

Of course

Just like they stopped making nintendo games after the release of the SNES - just like they stopped making PS1 games after the release of the PS2

It is going to happen

sadly, yes, it is going to happen, along with the gamecube. since new systems have been released for all three of these companies, we can expect that within the next year, production of new games for the ps2, x-box and gamecube will taper off and eventually stop altogether
