probably brackston hicks contractions. Nothing to worry about just yet, unless they start to get stronger and closer together. Brackston hicks contractions are just that though contractions, they prepair the muscles in you body for child birth. Check with you doctor for more information, or try searching on the web. Good Luck and Congrats!!!!!

Youre tummy is stretching =) what i found out that helps is alot of lotion!! there is a kind of lotion especially for stretch marks and it would help to avoid them... I had the same sharp pain that was exactly where you are having it and i would massage lotion on it and it would go away =)... but if you have concerns about it let your doctor know the next time you have a check up... and its not braxton-hicks contractions... you would have tightening all the way around your belly not just in one spot!!

More than likely it is Braxton Hicks, but call your physician and speak to the nurse or the DR. If nothing else you will go in to be checked, with a peace of mind. They are used to this so never hesitate to call with any questions. I delivered my son at 30 weeks and he is a healthy two year old! I am not trying to scare you, by no means, just trying to let you know that even if you deliver today, which you are probably not, your baby will be fine! Good Luck!

It's probably Braxton Hicks (uterine contractions), it happens throughout pregnancies, nothing to worry about. When you get further along,it will happen more often as your body prepares for birth.
