OK so u know in marching bands clarinetists can have there music straped to their insturments via a lyer, well Ive gotta play and walk but i play an oboe.

Ive tried to find something that would work to strap the music to the bell everywhere but had no luck. Even Howarths of London couldnt help so you guys are my last resort.

Unfortunalty a clarinet or trumpet lyer wont work. Help!

I dont know about your school but we had to memorize our music. Our band director refused to let us use lyres. You should check music stores (in person and online) to see if they have any of them. Honestly our oboe players marched with clarinets and played oboe during concert season. I played flute/piccolo/ and color guard in my years of band so I never worried about it. Even when I was allowed to march with music we never did cuz our lyers suck and would never stay up on our arms unless we tightened them so much we loss feeling in our hands which is very bad. If it were me I would just practice a lot and memorize your music. Good luck

how about one that ties to your wrist or arm?

That's what I had to use for my baritone when I was in high school
