my sim won't go to work?

She is in platinum mood, the dad is home, I have tried to have a nanny there as well. it keeps popping up for her to go to work, the car says that it's in use, but she won't go. it's not even costing her vacation days...I need the money...grrr

Maybe she's just lazy, because there have been plenty of days when I didn't feel like going to work either.

I don't know what game you have, (Mac, PC, or PS) but it you have a Mac you can get money by using a cheat.
Press Ctrl,Shift, and C at the same time. A small window will pop up at the top. Type in 'motherlode' and it gives you $50,000. That way your Sims don't have to go to work and can spend time doing other things.
If you do not have a Mac you can go to the Sims website. They could most likely help you.

Do you have a door for her to go out?Is there a object in the way of her getting in the car?If all else fails get her another job,if she is high up in her job she can get it back next day or so by looking in paper and accepting the job again.Good Luck!If you want a money cheat hold down ctrl +shift+c then enter motherlode and it will give you 50,000 each time you enter motherlode.Hope this helps.

It's probably cause your sim is upset or tired. If you can't get them to go after turning it off and back on then call in sick. They should hop fully go to work the next time they have it.
Also for your money problem, I know some cheats that give money real fast. But some people don't like using cheats on games like sims so that's up to you.
