When I see the pictures they're great when I put them on the screen all I see is a big blurry picture

I think your problem is that the resolution of your pictures is too low for the size screen you are covering. What you need to do is tile them. Put 4 identical pictures up as wallpaper, one in each corner, so that they cover the screen without having to be enlarged.

You may have to try, taking them into a graphics editor and sizing them to the size of your screen resolution. Also consider saving them as a .bmp file in the graphics editor if you're not already doing so.

Choose the "center" option. If that doesn't fix it, your picture is way too big and you need to scale it down to your desktop's size.

You can always sand it down and paint it! That would be a nice change and also a lot brighter than wallpaper!

The picture is too small... you need to tile it, or find a bigger picture
