It is possible that as Iran gains more power and control in Iraq, Syria and Lebanon enough to form a rudimentary caliphate, then Al Qaida may want to share the power. Otherwise, too many Shiites have been killed by Sunnis in Iraq. Forgiveness is not part of Islam.

they will compromise, but it will take a huge effort not just from both sides but also from all over the world. The war has to stop and negotiations has to start.

There is no alternative except that both groups must comprise.
