The visa process depends on your nationality and your country of residence. Generally, the process starts with your application. As an international student, you must submit financial records that prove that you will have enough funds for your education and living expenses for the next year or two. Once you are accepted, the university will issue you an I-20 form. Once you get the I-20 form, you should contact the US consulate in your region and follow their F-1 (student visa) visa procedures.
Good luck! :)
