I have to write an essay on Wheather if i agree or disagree "if the NAACP is something african americans need" but am not to sure what it is they do.

I would say the best thing the NAACP does is make people (ALL people) aware of possible racist activity. This knowledge is something we can all benefit from. Past that, though, every NAACP news item needs to be individually analyzed, as do all news items. Draw your own conclusions, form your own opinions.

That's why they have a website, and that's why there is are a lot of opinions published frequently on this very matter. In fact, they've been in the news in the last couple of years precisely because there is a lot of debate about their relevance or lack thereof.
That's why your local library is so useful.

I'll tell you....it teaches them racism, it teaches them that if Black's don't get what they want (legal or not) they will boycott a city into subjugation, it teaches blacks to be subservient to the Democratic party and not to think on their own....anything else you need to know.
