There is a way to configure a 2nd IP address in TCP/IP properties.

1. Use the Start menu to open Control Panel.
2. On Windows XP, you may need to open Network and Internet Connections.
3. Open Network (and Dial-up) Connections.
4. Open your network adapter.
5. Click Properties.
6. Click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) then click Properties.
7. Click Advanced.
8. On the IP Settings tab, click Add...
9. Type in the new IP address then click Add.
10. Click OK to close the Advanced TCP/IP settings window.
11. Click OK to close the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties window.
12. Click OK to close your network adapter properties window.

It's possible if you are running a virtual server such as VMWARE. You could run a virtual operating system under VMWARE and you will be assighned another IP address if you choose to go online through the virtual OS

Install a second network card. You can only have one IP address assigned to a network card.
