70/110 would be far from normal -- are you sure you don't mean 110/70?
110/70 is normal.
If your BP is 70/110 your OB should be talking about treatment, as this number would put you in the category of stage 2 high blood pressure. And if your systolic pressure (that's the first number, which in this case you're saying is 70) was as low as 70 you'd be feeling faint and dizzy.
If you're not sure about which number is which please call your doctor -- it makes a huge difference.
Systolic pressure is a measurement of pressure when your heart beats, pumping out the blood; diastolic pressure is the measurement of pressure between beats, when your heart is at rest. The archtypical number that gets bandied about is 120/80-- that number represents a systolic reading of 120 and a diastolic of 80. And that would be normal. It's normal for your systolic pressure to be higher...since that's when your heart is at work that's when the pressure is highest. Both the systolic and diastolic numbers are important, and if one is unusually high, you have high blood pressure.

If your BP is 70/110, this means that your blood is flowing stronger on the way back to your heart than it did on the way out from your heart. This means that you have a pump of some kind hidden somewhere in your body and you should probably look into it.
If you actually meant that your BP is 110/70, then this is fine.

The top number is the pressure your heart uses to push the blood through you and the bottom number is your heart 'relaxed'. I'm no doc, but I've read the 'normal' range for BP is 90/60 to 150/90. You doctor or midwife can tell you the range they go by.
So it sounds like you have Normal BP on the low end of normal. With being pregnant this is good, because one bad complication of pregnancy is high blood pressure.
Take care and congratulations!

110/70 is normal BP
if you have reason to worry about your BP, just be aware of any lightheadedness, spots in front of your eyes, or sudden swelling. If you experiance any of these symptoms, have your BP checked immediately. Preeclampsia, is a real problem.
Take care, and congrats!

no, your systolic pressure is too low and your diastolic pressure is too high. I've never seen these kind of numbers on anyone. Either someone is not measuring it right or you don't know what you are talking about. Go to a doctor and let a professional do it, and while you're there why don't you ask a doctor instead of asking online from people who may not know and are not in the medical profession? (no offense to those who actually do know)
