No, I wouldn't, as after that I would probably make attempts to avoid it. While I'm not afraid of death, I do not WISH for death. Trying to avoid something may end up being the cause of the event. There is a fable or short story about a merchant who discovers the time of his death and goes out of his way to avoid it, thus bringing it on...I believe it is called "An Appointment in Samarra" or "An Appointment With Death"...I can't remember the exact name...but very good reading.

i believe that it would be very healthy to get a look at what's about to cause your death. How else could you avoid it? Say you see the future and you are going to die by getting hit with a car on Friday; then if you stay off the streets all day Friday, you live, you win!!!
The only thing i would be afraid of in dieing is not being able to help people anymore. Other than that, i believe that Jesus saved my soul from my life of stupid mistakes, so i got nothing to fear :)

No I wouldn't want to see my own death or know about it before it happens. While I am not afriad of dying, I don't think that I need to see it before hand. There is too much living that has to be done before death and to dwell on it takes energy away from living life to the fullest. Death is only a turn of the Wheel and there is so much else to see and do. Dying is easier than being born or living up to our potencial.

I am not afraid of death.
I was once in an accident and the first doctor that looked at me thought I was going to die , there was nothing he could do for me.
I was sent to another hospital.(1 and a half hours away) and they thought I wouldn`t make it........I also lost my due to be born child in that trip........
Death is a part of life , strange huh , complete opposites , but we live to die. Nobody can escape it so why not just accept it....(I`m talking about personal death , not malicious acts performed by others just for the sake of wanting to kill someone).
As for knowing how and when and why I am going to die.....I would rather leave that one up-to destiny......Knowing that I am going to die and when would make it too hard for the ones around me that I love........

I would definitely be curious but, ultimately, would not want to see the cause of my death. I am not afraid of death, but I am afraid of suffering before I die. I would not want to know if I'm going to suffer. I'd rather deal with it when it comes.

Yep. Just out of morbid curiosity. I'd like to see my own funeral too just to see who shows up. Or who doesn't show up. I'm not afraid of death though. I've walked throuhg the fire so to speak and have seen death. It doesn't scare me anymore. I hope I go after my moms though. She"d never be able to handle it. It would literally kill her.

Being afraid of death is pointless as it's unavoidable so I don't let myself worry about it. No I wouldn't want to know how or when, some things it's best not to know.

I most certainly wouldn't want to see it, even though I already have. I've seen my own funeral. Scared the crap out of me! It's not supposed to happen for another 20+ years, so maybe I can change the outcome.
