Describe a personal event. You should have a wealth of information concerning things that you personally experienced. Some examples might be the death of someone in your family, coming to terms with some problem you have encountered, reliving a diffucult time in your life, or events that have shaped who you are today.

You need something that will incorporate plenty of adjectives and show that you have used senses (sight, touch, smell, sound) in you description. If a student asks for something to write about I usually ask them to write about being a survivor on Titanic, a WW1 soldier in the trenches, being in the blitz in WW2 or alone in a haunted house. It then gives them plenty of scope to use description. Good Luck!

The best essays are the ones where you write about something know about and are passionate about. Ask yourself - what matters in your life? Do you like piercings/tattoos/music/cooking...then write about that.

Need more info. What subject? If just any subject, try doing one on a historical figure, like John Wilks Booth. Just do a google search and you can find lots of info. Good luck.

Write about something you really like. That makes it easy to describe.
