I had my old 8mm film from the 60s and 70s converted to dvds professionally recently and I need to make copies for family members. But they took all the film I had and put it all on to one dvd so it has all different occasions and time frames. I only want to make copies of portions, or a couple of the sections, of what was converted over. I don't want the entire contents copied. Is that possible? And if so how?

you require some sort of movie editor - Roxio has this ability built into to it - you pick the portions you want to delete - then save the remaing to a new file and burn to disk - works fine - if you know someone with an Paple computer it would be even easier

YOu probably need to edit it with something like Windows Movie Maker and select just the parts you want.

PS. Where did you get the film edited and onto dvd?
