It is an urban myth.
In Boston they have McLobster so in Australia they may have a McRoo.
It was Jack in the Box that had the roo and ground worms for the taco meat.

Let's get a grip folks, yes Jack-in-the-Box was guilty of using 'Roo and Horse in their burger mix MANY years ago. (Worms for the tacos is pure BS though.)
McDonald's, despite all the hate mail to the contrary, has never violated their 100% beef burger assertion. Yes, they use local foods in foreign lands, but not to replace their burgers. McD's does serve borscht in Russia and Sushi in Japan but the burgers are still 100% beef.

All I know is that in India, where eating beef is a major no-no, due to religion or whatever, McDonalds uses sheep or something.
I saw it on the news a while back.

Oh, absolutely! The one in Japan makes Big Macs out of seaweed and raw fish, the ones in Russia use beets in theirs, the ones in Mongolia use human heads, and the ones in Columbia are packed with Cocaine. Will you believe anything you hear?
