It seems like when facing decisions people act so stupid

My son uses the term STUPID-ENT when referring to something that people do when they know better. It is not an accident that people make horrible decisions, it's a STUPID-ENT. Because they just aren't using their brains. Ignorance is bliss to most people, but I prefer to have a little common sense.

Because there is no thing as common sense. I prefer to call it uncommon sense, as if it were common, more people would be using it. Plus in a technological society, people are not forced to do many things for themselves, thus, an easier life causes less time spent figuring things out for yourself. If the brain doesn't get a work out, it too will get weak!
