Obviously Not...

Why would they bother bringing out a whole new console, when there would be no need of buying it.

Some games however are released on both XBox 360 and Xbox.

Nope, the emulator is only one-way.... The newer version of the 360 can play old Xbox games....

Not even in the least bit. Totally diffrent reading formats make it impossible. Like any console.
