Trying to get past school Internet filtering systems to gain access to unauthorized web sites is a violation of the computer usage policy at your school or workplace. You can get suspended from school or fired from your job. Use school or work computers for school work and your personal e-mail, IM'ing and myspace will be waiting for you when you get home.

You'll survive without your MySpace until you get home. Dodging this block that your school has on MySpace is probably a violation of the computer usage policy at your school; you'll get punished if you do this.
Have patience; you can use MySpace all night long when you get home, and you won't get suspended from school for doing it.

Usually, you can't. Lots of schools have blocked sites like MySpace.

you don't ! . the system admin has it blocked and probably every single port that would use a proxy server , besides my tax dollars are not going for you to be on myspace while in school

If they've blocked it, it's probably because they don't want you to go there. I'd say they'd like you to spend time doing something more constructive. I mean, after all you're at school right?
Are you trying to break your school's rules?

Even if someone gives you a proxy, your school's IT server will see it as it logs everything that goes on their network. Be prepared to be excluded if you get caught.
