I've been to several questions on here and people always call Americans stupid even before we answer the question. What is up? I'm not saying Americans are the brighest people on the planet because I know we have our fair share of people missing a few screws, but should one small group influence and affect the other group?

We all have our fair share of people missing a few screws.
That's all over the world ! Don't take it personal, it must have been somebody missing some of those screws that made the statement in the first place.

That is the way people are honey. They hate what they don't understand or consider something stupid that they don't know. That is just like when people say they hate rap music. Never heard a word of it before but hate it and says people who listen to it are stupid. Or when people say they hate rock music, never heard not one rock song in there lives but hate it. If you ask me the one calling people stupid are the stupid ones. Just trying to call other people out so nobody notices they are the dumb azzes.

You are right...some Americans are missing a few screws but still! I think America is pretty bright considering no other nation has the goverment we have. Though our school system is being dumbed down, we are still in the land of sweet opportunity!

People in general are stupid, and will always try to impose their views on others. I could care less what anyone thinks of me, my race, my gender, my social class, or whatever. Its my life and I just let the comments of the ignorant roll off of my back

Oh boy.. It's juat all the prejudgement going on now in the world.. we're all but a simple piece in the game of life...
I usually ignore all the rude comments, and refrain from judging people I don't know.. it's that simple :O)

Americans are assumed to be stupid because we have the stupidest "leader" in the whole world and we are all his victims. It doesn't matter what the world may have learned from Hitler or Saddam, we are powerless in the face of a dictator.

If people have such a problem with Americans, then move to another country, that is what I think! I love my country with all my heart, and if someone else don't, then I have no respect for them.
