MapleStory is a free massively multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG). It's a completely free game, set in a fantasy world where you can create your own character, and then do quests, collect items, level up, battle NPCs and other users from around the world. It features very neat graphics and decent sound too.

Maplestory is one of the free online games that got converted to America from Korea. It's a 2-D sidescroller type game that still maintains the RPG elements. You choose a class, get items, level up; but all in a sidescroller type world. Very cutesy type graphics. I played it for a bit while looking for a good game to start playing. But it is a MMORPG (massive multiplayer online role playing game) which means you're playing with people from all over the world in real time, so there is a sense of community there [although maple story doesnt have the best].

Maple Story is basically a simple online role-playing game that's free to play, which is why it is so popular, especially with younger gamers who maybe don't have the money to buy online games like guildwars or world of warcraft. another factor that makes Maple Story more popular than these other games is that it is not as graphic as other online games of its kind, so parents feel it is more age appropiate for kids.

in case you do not have a particular dedication to MapleStory, you'll not in any respect get far in it. in case you advise on playing on my own the completed way, do not even hardship making an account (as in no friends, partying, or celebration Quests). i'm fantastically biased compared sport after playing it for slightly (stopped at Lvl. 34). contained in the least puzzling sense, leveling up is largely grinding on a similar monster for ~5-10+ ranges (when you get pastime progression) earlier shifting on to the subsequent monster for that similar volume of ranges. no longer merely that, yet there'll continually be someone a lot more suitable than you grinding at each stated leveling spot (mages or thieves frequently). in my opinion, the journey fee contained in the game is too unfair for people twiddling with out friends. On a diverse word, controls for this sport are distinct the least puzzling i have performed in an sport. Arrow Keys to bypass and uncomplicated keyboard customizing, installation skills/products onto any key via drag and drop or doing away with/switching Keyboard purposes interior a similar way. For video games i'd advise, try ROSE on-line (you may or would have not heard of it earlier), a three-D mmo from the creators of Ragnarok on-line. i think the leveling is way swifter in this sport as compared to MapleStory, permitting get accurate of entry to to the better aspects quicker. The ability gadget would properly be puzzling before each little thing, yet should be comprehensible after searching at it nearer.

This is a fun side-scrolling game, rather like a MMORPG aimed at children. It's easy to play, and there is no cost to join.
I've tried it myself, but as I'm an adult, I got rather bored by it. I think it's a wonderful and safe game for children, though.
Personally, I prefer Runescape, as there's more of an online community there, which I enjoy very much.
