Try your local library! I was self taught and used resources from friends and the library to get chords and the basics down! The only thing I have ever paid for was my guitars, strings, a tuner, and 1 chord book!

if you go to any music store they will probably have guitar books and if you cant find any i kno amazon sells them so go give it a try see what you can find

You can get books, their are a lot of free videos on youtube, get private lessons depending on your budget. There are many ways.

try a musical supply store, even ask a highschool band teacher they will know where to find it. google it. or dogpile.com ebay for sure man, amazon has plenty.

but the Net could be of use... and also your local band store..
