Well that decision is your's but here's what you might want to do.

By some temporary hairdye (I think L'Oréal carrys it) and try out some different colours. If there is one that suits you really well, then try going permanent!

Good luck with your hair dying!!

It really is completely up to you. I've personally been coloring my hair since I was a 10th grader. Sometimes brown, then maybe blonde, then brown with red highlights . . . it depends on what sort of mood I'm in. Since it would be your first time, you may want to just have some highlights or lowlights weaved into your hair. Nothing too dramatic for your first time. See if you like it. If not, you can always let it grow out or have them recolor your hair back to its natural color. Unless your hair is very fine, there really aren't many disadvantages. If done professionally, it can become expensive in the long run.

It's so much more stylish to highlight your hair than to dye it! Best part, you can highlight your hair with out harmful chemicals! Get a few lemons and squeeze the juice into a disposable bowl or cup and dip just your ends in the lemon juice to create the look Beyonce and Shakira have. Head out to sit in the sun for atleast an hour, then shampoo and condition your hair as usual. Instant highlights, without the possibility of damaged hair!

Speaking as a proffessional cosmetologist, some of the worst hair mistakes and tragedies happen at home. My advice is to find a good salon and start there. Make sure the stylists talks to you about what you want and how much you want to spend. You may even want to look through some style books for ideas. Also you may want to start slow, for example: just a few thin highlights or lowlights for a gradual change instead of going from blonde to brunnette and totally hating it. good luck!

I have been dying my hair for about 5years now and I regret it.It dries out and damages the hair, even if having it done at the salon.I had very healthy hair until this.

It's best if you call around some salons in your area and ask them about advantages and disadvantages they are usually your best bet..

Here are some sites you can upload your picture into and try on different styles and colors ..it's fun and easy

I don't think u should change Ur hair color. well its up 2 u but if u really want 2 change something in u it could be Ur make or Ur clothes or can even make highlight Ur hair. bcoz when u color all Ur hair Ur natural hair color will start getting darker and darker. And all the chemicals in the dye are very bad for Ur hair. OK anyways GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!

Any time you want to make a drastic change..go talk to a hair stylist...they can advise you on what would look best, what might "take" and what may not depending on the type of hair you have...
Coloring your own hair can cause many problems, from hair falling out and the hair turning weird colors....you may be in for many "hat" days if you do it yourself...
I have my hair colored..and have for many, many years...I used to try to color it on my own, and have had an array of bad colors (from blue to purple) that I did not want, have been left with a bald spot from too much bleach, and ended up with my hair fried so bad I had to have it cut really short....
Take it from someone who knows...go to an expert..it'll save you a lot of heartache later!

I've been dying my hair since I was 12, my hair use to be blonde and it suddenly started to get darker and darker, and I looked like a zombie with darker hair. If you dye it naturally it'll be easy to maintain, but if you dye it blonde, it'll be hard. I have to make sure that none of my dark roots show, I do it myself, because I will not like it if someone else does it. You'll like your hair colour, but you won't like the breakage of your hair, and how dry it is.

yea u can surely color ur hair..if thats wat u mean by dye..use good branded hair color. go to a beauty parlour..they'll help u with the choices of which brand and which color to use...u can go for streaks also...its good to try out different looks once in a while..just be carefull not to overdo it. once colored take proper care of ur hair. nourish n condition them properly then u wont have any problem.
