Is it the same as women or girls acting tom boyish and manly?

Is it a real turn off for you?

Or do you think that people are way to sensitive and brainwashed over this subject? (especially in US)

I think when guys want to wear make-up its a little girly, depending on what kinds.

I think "girly guys" are fine. Its usually the individual that bothers me. Like just because I dislike one "girly guy", doesn't mean I won't like them all. I don't dislike the person, because they are girly, the hate would be on a level on what they did to me to make me hate them. I like everyone. And I think I put up with a lot.

So everyone has a chance.

As far as girls go, its okay. They should just be clean and thats it.

This question brings up another question:

"Why does something that's not that serious bother you?"

There are more serious things happening besides a person acting or being like the other gender.

I think people are way too sensitive.

My thought:

"Dislike what they did to you, not who they are"

Oh and I would like to add that nothing should be a turn off in america. Take what the person gives you and have some imagination.

:)

Jeez I wouldn't have a clue, guess men wearing crop tops is a bit girlie really but then again not all women look girlie in them either, go with the flow and wear what you want, be individual and shock people, at least your going to get noticed that way.

I really think it is Girly for a guy to wear makeup. Lip gloss or shine is fine but not eye makeup or lipstick. It is just too much for my brain. I think it is awesome that men are going for Mani and pedi's, massages. It is a good way to relax and makes them look polished. I also think it is great that men are taking care of the hair too.

I do think we still live in a homophobic society in US and Canada.
But it is getting better.

I actual have been in some places and circumstances, and have not been in others. i've got certainly by no potential tried to be, yet i'm hassle-free-going and a smart-***, which has a tendency to get me pals of the two sexes with the impressive humorousness. It relies upon on the place i've got worked, the folk i've got been around, and regardless of if or not the adult adult males in question have been attempting to be d!ckheads or actual friendly. If the "come be between the lads" vibe is actual all approximately "we'd choose to declare disgusting issues to you to observe you react" or "this could nicely be a try, in case you do not chortle as quickly as I press my groin into you, you're an uptight stick" then I avert those assholes like the plague-bringers they're. there are incredibly some good adult adult males accessible who do not require you to have a gender transplant to loosen up and function a sturdy, non-sexualized time around them, although, and that i've got met some packs of them. "To me, the classically 'girly' character isn't appealing in any respect: this is humorless, stiflingly suitable, skinny-skinned and unable to take jokes, nervewrackingly paranoid and emotional, and intentionally evasive of any shared pastimes." not which you're sexist, or something. you're basically a paragon of rational diagnosis with out prejudice once you attempt to psychoanalyze feminists on the cyber web. different than you practice all of those characteristics to the two "classically" girly women persons and feminists. So, what you're asserting is the only women persons you like are ones that act precisely like your frat brothers? upload: Wow. you're frequently extra advantageous at being smug and sneering. Are you not feeling nicely at present? i'm going to describe slowly. a million) There may be a minority (from a million-10 p.c., reckoning on who you ask) of your frat brothers who might get something out of humping you. 2) i'm not even specific what you have been attempting to declare there. you extremely could desire to not be feeling nicely. Not sure what you mean as 'Girly', I like a man who takes care of himself, thinks about how he looks etc. Happy for guys to have long hair as long as its clean and well cared for too. Don't like guys who are going bald wearing whats left of their hair in a ponytail, just get it cut really short, looks much better! Not into guys who cross dress, not my thing at all. But happy for a guy to have a pedicure etc. Men with hairy backs and shoulders who bother to get them waxed are absolutely right!!!! Bit of chest hair is ok, but not all over, think evolution!!!

A mincing walk, limp wrist, tight t-shirt,effeminate giggling, always going on about Trinny and Suzannah, owning a poodle, drinking halves, dancing to anything that sounds like EuroVision, being obsessed with Shirley Bassey, wearing make-up, carrying a handbag, going to tanning salons, generally looking after ones' appearance, playing kiss-chase without girls, flower arranging, window dressing and acting just plain poofy.

Well, you asked.

I'm a complete sucker for guys with long hair, I have to admit. Having said that, despite the fact that everyone said my last boyfriend was drop dead gorgeous the fact he spent longer in the bathroom than I did primping and preening like a peacock eventually became a turn-off for me!

I find metalhead and emo guys with long hair and eyeliner really hot.

However, wearing a skirt or dress or whatever is just going too far for me to fancy them.

I think guys with long hair is a totally girlie turnoff.
Guys who put a lot of product in their hair- girlie turnoff.

I don;t think it has anything to do with being brainwashed, though... it's just not attractive.
