I am 12 wks pregnant and just starting to show a little bit. It seems like my belly doubles in size the later in the day it gets. I am not eating unusually large amounts of food. Is it just bigger throughout the day from eating...before I was preg my belly always would stick out a little bit after eating a meal, I am a thin person and had a flat belly. My belly is sticking out a little bit even when I first wake up...it just seems alot bigger by the afternoon.

I had noticed that too, but later on in my pregnancy. I am not thin so I did not start showing until about 18-20 weeks,(33 weeks now) but I did notice that my belly did not feel as hard in the morning. I also notice that after I eat, that my belly seems to get harder. I am chalking it up to eating and then the food running its course through your digestive system. Also, your body swells more when you are pregnant, but it will not swell as much when you lying down, so that can have something to do with it! I hope this helps!

I would guess that this is because not all the bulge is from baby. When you're pregnant you're uterus isnt the only thing that sticks out. Your bowels start sticking out well before your belly gets big, which is usually what makes girls "show" early in a pregnancy. Once you start putting things into your stomach, your bowels fill with gas and what not... which causes your belly to distend more than it was in the morning when you had nothing in your stomach.
You also might be retaining water/fluids into the day, and at night everything sort of settles.

Because you haven't eaten overnight, the baby gets whatever nutrients it can from you and what you've eaten during the previous day so naturally you'll be slimmer in the morning. As the day progresses, food is stored within you for a longer period of time hence the bigger size, enabling baby to get whatever nutrients it can, and then getting extra when you sleep again. I'm now 17 weeks pregnant and have a flat stomach in the morning, and a hint of baby belly when I go to bed.

Well its obviously the food and liquids you eat and swallow. Im 16 weeks. When I wake up in the morning, my stomach is really popping out, but only because I have to pee, when I pee, it goes back to normal. Then when I eat, it pops out again alot, but it just goes back and forth and so on. Im sure when your like 7 months its gonna be huge and look that way all day and night. Thats the best I can answer you with! Good luck and congrats!

do no longer panic. Your infant has in all hazard replaced positions. have self assurance it or no longer, that could have a great effect on what your abdomen sounds like. I even have an analogous occasion. My abdomen button on no account "popped," in an attempt to talk, yet there are days while it fairly is flatter and days while it fairly is greater of an "innie." It relies upon on the place my infant is striking out, and it fairly is somewhat obtrusive. The farther alongside you get, you would be waiting to confirm the bulges on your abdomen and be responsive to what section is protruding the place! Your problem *could desire to* additionally be by using swelling. some women people tend to adventure a splash edema of their bellies. in case you have been resting plenty with your ft up, a number of those fluids that could have contributed on your swelling could have been eradicated by skill of your kidneys, inflicting your abdomen to look smaller. in case you think of you're no longer getting sufficient care out of your well being practitioner, you have have been given each and every stunning to locate a sparkling one. For now, do no longer problem too plenty...your infant remains in there, and fantastic i'm valuable. good success and congrats.

That happens to people who aren't pregnant too. When you eat the belly stretches a little. Its normal. Congrats on the new baby!!!

Aside from the baby moving, I would say that body fluids are pooling elsewhere while you are asleep, and slowly moving around your belly as the day wears on.

I'm not sure exactly what causes it, but I do want to say that I am 13 weeks and the exact same thing happens to me. So I think we are ok. My personal theory is that its from eating and water retention but like I said, I"m not expert.

It could be from eating. I know I feel "bigger" after I have eaten.
Also could be from the baby moving around.

The baby is probably changing positions. When you are laying down the baby is also resting but when you are up moving around the baby is moving also.
