This sounds like a law of Karma. I would like to believe this is true. I simply can't find evidence to support it. I have witnessed people commit evil and malicious acts and they seemingly suffer no consequence, or recrimination. In fact, many seem to prosper because they seem to have no moral compass whatsoever.

I have also witnessed selfless and even heroic acts, acts of kindness and consideration that seem to come from people who are perpetually having bad things happen to them. That would include me.

The only explanation would possibly be, if reincarnation is truly a fact, then the karma we experience in this life is simply a manifestation or payback for something we have done in a previous life.

Another eternal question, but still, a good one.

No, its a fantasy. We'd all like to think that if we live a blameless life then we'll get a reward, but if a butterfly's wings can start or prevent a tornado, who is arrogant enough to say they can trace the cumulative effect of every action, every breath, every moment of a life?

Karma is just another way for people to feel secure, however if you go out and pick fights with random strangers, you can expect to get a beating before the end of the day... So, yeah, you reap what you sow.

I definatly do, but it's not always some cosmic event. If I can hold a door for someone who's got their hands full, or help them bring their groceries in from a cab when it's raining I always feel great, when I feel good I do better work at school, and I get better grades.
So indirectly doing something kind on the way to school improves my grades.
The opposite happens if I feel bad about something I've said or done I worry about the person I was mean to, and have trouble concentrating on what I'm doing.

It seems like most of the people responding to this question agree"as you sow so shall you reap. I expect most of those people by insurance for the times when they don;t believe it works that way.

“Like you reap what you sow”—I do not believe in retribution. Look around you, there are countless evildoers living in comfort. They are lavishing in style. Who is luckier, you or them.

On the other hand, what goes around that affect one another in the unfathomable of incidents, be it good or bad, has to do with the element of “chance” or “dispensing opportunity”. In addition, do not believe that good deeds will have the blessing of rewards. --- Far from it, you will live to regret it, when hope will end in frustrations and miseries.

Do what is justifiable and not overly committed that may ruin your finance and life altogether. (In the process of helping another)

Definately. Some call it fate, or Karma, or Destiny. I say it like you, reap what you sow! Just because your conscious self doesnt act, dont be deceived about the unconscious minds ability to force us to act.

i does not examine too lots into prophetic passages. lots of the symbolism that made this way of element significant 2,500 years in the past has been lost to us. It seems such as you're anomaly searching. If I stated what Ezekiel stated in some public park i might in all probability be thrown interior the loony bin. This passage reminds me of Monty Python's existence of Brian: uninteresting Prophet: There shall in that factor be rumors of issues going off course, erm, and there'll be a great confusion as to the place issues somewhat are, and no-one will somewhat be attentive to the place lieth those little issues with certainly one of those raffia-artwork base, that has an attachment. at that factor, a pal shall lose his chum's hammer, and the extra youthful shall not be attentive to the place lieth the flaws possessed by potential of their fathers that their fathers positioned there basically in simple terms the night till now, approximately 8 O'clock.

Yes I definitely believe in it and try to live my life according to this belief. I have seen bad things happen to people who have done no good to others so that is proof to myself.
