Undetermined. Grape juice has most of the beneficial compounds, but only wine has been shown to be associated with better health. There probably are just not enough grape juice drinkers (daily for many years) in order to show a statistical benefit.

Yes, it is as good as wine, and it is a better choice. I personally do not care for the taste of alcohol , and understand that it is an acquired taste. Alcohol is an addictive substance, and I would rather abstain from the use of alcohol, seeing the damage it can do when used excessively . The health benefits should be the same.

I've heard that the answer is yes in association with one study, but other studies don't mention it, at least as reported in the press. But since it is the resveratrol that is the key ingredient, you could do a bit of internet searching on resveratrol in grape juice and get an answer, I think.

Yes, studies have recently shown this to be true. I enjoy the wine a bit more myself though.
