my computer is acting up and I dont know what do do about it whenever I type something wether it be in word, on the internet or whatever, nothing comes up for about 30seconds to a minute before the actual type comes up. In fact it is doing this right now!! I deleted cookies, ran a scan disk, deleted a few programs and I am lost now as to what to do. It is getting irritating. It has never done this in the past so I am confused. What is the cause and how do I fix it? I dont think it is a virus because everything else works fine. Like when I search for things on the net, everything runs fast

Sounds like a virus, but you want to check a couple of things. Goto System in Control Panel and see what % of your system is "free" anything below 85% could be the problem. Also run msconfig from the the RUN under START. Go to the Startup tab and uncheck EVERYTHING. Anything that is truely important will be rerun when you restart a program(except for virus protection but you can usually tell which on the list are those).
