My agent is a bit unsure. Have you taken it? I have 3 days in the area, and I'd like to get out on my own.

I would recommend you go via bus rather than train. The buses are like first class coaches and they are very comfortable and will get to KL in about 5hrs (depending on traffic).

Here is the website.

We have used the Nice service before - would definitely recommend! As a nice touch they serve you food and drinks along the way (though not necessary because the food is so cheap in KL!).

There very well could be, but considering that you have only 3 days, I would suggest that you concentrate your focus on one city or the other. Travel between the two by any means (200 miles) will certainly eat up the better part of at least one day and possibly more - even by air, consider the amount of time you would spend traveling to and from the airport and in security/immigration lines etc for what might amount to a 1 hour flight. Both Singapore and Kuala Lumpur are enormous cities that are filled with things to see and do. I think that you could easily fill 3 days exploring either city. Do some homework or find an interpreter and set out on an adventure. I am sure that you will not get bored. Worst of all you don't want to spend most of your vacation stuck in transit.

Good luck and have a blast!
