yes, there is truth to this. League sources indicated Bill Belichick stated: He has "long been enamored with the Raiders wide receiver and would welcome the opportunity to bring him to Foxboro for the right price."
Belichick has proved that he can turn so-called "misfits" into ultimate team players, as proven by Corey Dillion.

Yes there's some truth to it, but I don't think its going to happen. I see him going back to the NFC. Green Bay is a strong possibility. Let me add a dark horse to the equation: San Francisco. They have the cap room and it's right down the road for Moss to get a fresh start. But as far as Moss with the Patriots, I just don't see him fitting in as a Patriot. People have overhyped the need for New England to get a go-to receiver. Lets look back at New England's receivers since 1995, which was the season they went to their first Super Bowl since the beat down they took from the famed '85 Bears. Terry Glenn. Shawn Jefferson. David Givens. Troy Brown. Deion Branch. All good receivers, but none of which the mention of their name makes you think of dominance at that position, like Marvin Harrison, Chad Johnson, etc. The point I'm making is that since that 95-96 season, the Patriots have appeared in 4 Super Bowls, winning 3 of them WITHOUT the big-name, big-time receiver. They run a system offense. Its much like the Denver Broncos running game. No matter who you put in there, they're going to get 1000 yards. No matter who Brady throws to, he's going to throw for 3000 plus yards, 20 plus TDs and lead the Pats in the playoffs, and in January, they become a different team. I dont see them getting Moss nor do I see the need for them to get Moss.

Who knows....but it would be a interesting fit....Randy loves to make the BIG play down field leaving the backs and TEs open on the short stuff...hav to double him on a fly run the screen under also opens up the running game even more.....attitude...Bill will get that straight...and Randy will hav to take a pay cut....BUT..5-7 deep throws his way a game should keep him happy......THIS IS FOR WHO DAT....who in the hxll would want to go to S.F. Alex Smith just plain stinks...and the offense works around it

I hope, Moss is such a great receiver. He isnt a T.O. , he's better, its science (TO + Catching Ability + Speed - The Mouth= Randy Moss)

Perhaps, but I don;t think it will happen.
Then again, Dillon was a bit of a problem child at times too, and look how well that worked.
Either way, the Patriots are going to win it back this coming year.

Yes that Pats are interested in him. To be honest, he would make a great addition to that team. He is exactly what they need and he would get the ball thrown to him 7-10 times per game. Perfect amount to keep both sides happy.

it would be a good deal, but i don't think it could happen, Pats don't like wasting time in child-acting players, whining or immature players. so if any of u want Moss in Pats uniform, u gotta help Moss change his character.

Being a life long Raiders fan, I CERTAINLY HOPE SO. But I don't think his attitude would work too well around Belichek.
