they cant evict you with out evidence or more than one complaint,so if you have truley done nothing wrong then it had to go to court and without evidence they cant do anything surely.

what exactly is your neighbors saying about you that isn't true? do you have teenage kids who are listening to loud music? do you have younger ones who are out of control, that interferes with you having a positive impact on everyone around you? i have three children, 21,19 and 9. my two older ones are boys and when they lived at home with me; they would have their friends over and listen to music loud when i wasn't around. when they seen me pulling up from the grocery store or wherever i was coming back from, they would turn it down. i was fortunate that all my neighbors were friends and family, so most of the time it didn't bother anyone. but if anyone had a problem with it, they would tell me. when i went on my honeymoon, the boys thought they were going to party at my place. i had my sister and my best friend keep an eye on them! whatever the case may be, i only asked those abrupt questions because i went through it when my boys were younger. my oldest one got something blamed on him that was very serious. fortunately for him, i could prove that he was visiting his dad that weekend. his friends did it and the landlord was told that it was the whole group of boys!!! i wish you well and good luck because it is too expensive to move and start all over. i hope your goody-to-shoe neighbors see that you have children and that just isn't cool to do to someone. is there anyway you can talk to them?

I feel sorry for anyone that becomes homeless. However, look at your own actions and see what can be done differently.

Does this "council" have an appeals process? Perhaps you can ask them to provide some proof (facts- not rumors) that give them reason for displacing you.

Get a solicitor- in the UK you can get 1/2 advice an hour free. Appeal against the eviction. Provide evidence / witness/es to support your argument they have made an unjust decision.

Denny, i'm not being funny but they cant evict you without evidence, you wont be put on the streets as you have children. They will probably put you in a hostel.

Do you have any family members who might give temporary help? Have you tried meeting with social services for help? Speak to your minister if you have one. Contact you local elected official. Don't give up. By the way, your friend says she's sorry for you but sorry won't do any good. Ask her if she has any ideas that might help you.
