hi just wanted to know if any1 else has had probs well when i was 18 i had the norplant fitted in my arm as i already had 2 children and at that particular time in my life didnt want any more.well the norplant at that time was 6 rods inserted in your arm and lasted for 5 years which suited me just fine as i got caught twice on the pill.but now i want more children but think the norplant has made me infertile as i have been trying for a baby now for the last 4 years i know other ppl i have spoke to have had the same problem in america ppl was suing over it can we sue i remember signing something but as it was 9 years ago i cant remember what i signed any ladies with the same problem after having the norplant and what can i do next

Visit a fertility doctor now if you want more children. Do not let any more time pass by before you try to solve the problem. When we put chemicals into our bodies there are consequences regardless of whether it is the pill or other artificial implants. I hope you can have a baby!

The first thing you need to do is see your doc to get checked out. You may or may not be having fertility problems but the doc needs to check this out for you. Also your partner needs to get checked. Perhaps he has a low sperm count or is infertile.
