Personally, if I were Donadoni, I'd let him go. If he has better things to do and his Nation is not his priority I would not want that lack of commitment in or around my team. He needs to check his ego, make a decision one way or the other an end the speculation. No one is irreplaceable and I would not be pandering to any player who doesn't have full commitment to wearing a National jersey.

Yeah, Andygurl is right.
I mean, I love Totti and everything, but apparently "he has better things to do", so Donadoni should just tell him to make a final decision, I mean all of this speculation has been going on for months. Even though, I would love it if he still kept on playing for the Azzurri, if he's so hesitant about it, and playing for his country isn't his #1 priority, then I don't understand why he just doesn't make the obvious decision!! Gosh, I'm so annoyed, and honestly, he's being a total moron right now.

He wanted to spend time with his family. I think the Italian squad is fine and could do without Totti. I think Donadoni should give others a chance to play.

Dr,Zizou that's not a good joke!Totti is not playing because he is suffering from a really bad injury and want,s to take arest.He had said that he won't play for an year.So maybe he won't play the Euro 08.

I'm going to be honest as much as he's a good player Totti is being an *** hole, he wants Donadoni to get down on his knees and beg him. if he's a loyal player to his team he'll just play for the Euro qualifications like he plays for Roma..
