its just my screen but still it is acually kinda broke and the screen lights up black and stuff to this is WE WENT TO TWN I LEFT IT IN THE CAR AND PROBALLY KNOCKED IT OUT AND MY MOM WENT TO TOWN AND THEN I DISCOVERED IT OUTSIDE UNDER THE WHEELS AND BROKE SO GO FIGURE HUH?well thanks for helping me out

That kind of damage isn't covered under the normal warranty. Our warranty was voided because the ipod was "scuffed, indicating a drop which is outside of normal wear and tear".

You have to buy a new one, not even the extended battery would cover for an accident that was provoked by you. This is a lesson that things like that you have to take care of them. You have to buy a new one or send it to apple inc. in california to see if they can repair it.
