Usually so that the information in ACCESS is kept up to date, and sometimes/many time, the info can help others keep up to date

As an example. I recently had to convert an old computer program from FoxPro, which used DBase type tables. I was re-writing the program in Delphi and the DBase tables did not support SQL so I had to convert them to Access. I opened Access, created a Database, and imported all of the tables from DBase to Access.
