I just recently purchased a Sony PSP, and I want to put a SNES emulator on it. how??

My firmware is 2.70 and I was told that I might have to downgrade the firmware. but how do I do this? can someone help me with this? thanks

You are correct. In order to run emulators, your PSP has to be in firmware 1.50 or using customized firmware (3.03 OE-c).

In either case, you have to downgrade to 1.50 first.

Word of warning. Downgrading is very risky and can turn your PSP completely useless (brick).
