Are we making progress or is it the status quo?

The surge is going slowly. The biggest mistake after overrunning Iraq is the strength of the occupation forces. We were under strength about 250,000. The reason is the idea bringing democracy to Iraq. This doesn't excuse the planners. All the statistics work out by the computers back in the 90's.

Then this is a test bed of new theory of precision combat which is high tech reliance. This was develop under Donald Rumsfeld

On the contrary...

We had the first car bombing in a few days in a book market in Baghdad, today. It's been relatively quiet up to this point. Maliki is whining so as not to look as though he allowed that raid. The fact is, we can't enter minister level buildings without consent of the GOI.

Carnage and mayhem are actually DOWN!

I haven't as much as had a shot fired in my AO in quite some time. The people of the community are turning in bad guys weapons caches and we are getting good information from Sunni and Shia.

All this and the full surge isn't even on, yet.

That's called success, my friend.

This happened an hour ago. COns call this success:

BAGHDAD, Iraq - A suicide car bomber shattered a relative lull in Baghdad's violence Monday, killing at least 28 people in a blast that touched off raging fires and a blizzard of bloodstained paper from a popular book market.

It was the largest bombing in the capital in three days, and came on the heels of a major push by nearly 1,200 U.S. and Iraqi troops into Sadr City, a Shiite militia stronghold and base for fighters loyal to radical cleric Muqtada al-Sadr.

Where in the world do you get your news? Are you having to completely make it up now that things are going better in Iraq? Even CNN is being forced to do more and more articles about "increased Taliban activity" in Afghanistan because that's the only really bad news they can find.

If you took all the weapons from the Jews there would be genocide.

If you took all the weapons from the Muslims there would be peace.

Do the world a favor, either overdose on the drugs you take or quit taking them altogether.

The way you are is an embarrassment to the world.
